We wore thick fleeces, hats, gloves, and windproof jackets to stay comfortable during our adventure. The trek from car park one to the volcano covered approximately 9.5 kilometers, and it took us just over two hours to complete the hike. The initial section of the hike took around 40 minutes to conquer, but don't be discouraged, as it gets much better after that point. As we continued along the route, we were rewarded with mesmerising views of the previous eruptions from 2021 and 2022.
